DAY SCHOOLING
The day school is for Classes
LKG to XII. The regular
school
hours are 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The students prepared to develop
academic and social skills while
building confidence and maturity.
The academic programmeis supplemented with tutorials
which, depending on a student's
need, are designed for remedial
work. The organizational and
recognition systems give students
the necessary tools for the future.
DAY
BOARDING
The day boarding school scheme is
available for students of Classes
LKG to VIII. Students under this
scheme are in the school from 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 pm. It offers extended
school hours to cater to the total
and complete development of the
children.

Academics are limited to the school hours without pressure of
home work and tuition. The ethos therefore are different from
normal day school with greater interaction, intimacy and
informality among students, teachers and staff.
The students are looked after by caring teachers during study
hours after the regular school. They also take part in various
games and sports as well as other co-curricular activities after
the completion of of their home assignments. Through small
classes, daily help sessions, supervised afternoon study and
evening sports and activities, students gain self discipline and
an interest in academics that might have been missing before.
They do not carry their books home everyday but leave them

in separate locked allotted to them in the classroom. They
are also provided three meals daily during their stay in school.
BOARDING
SCHOOL
The school caters to Boarders from Classes I to XII and offers
students a singular and dynamic educational experience where
learning is not limited only to the class room, but extends to
dormitories, dining hall table, playing field and every other
part of the campus. The GIS Boarding has a capacity to
accommodate 1000 students in its four boarding houses -a Senior
Boys Hostel, two junior Boys Hostels and a Girls Hostel. The
boarding students share the campus with nearly 70 faculty
members and their families which provide a homely environment
for the healthy growth of children.
